Product review video / brand-owned

Product review videos from the guy who shot 7,000+ of them

I make product review videos for Amazon and DTC brands, and you own every one outright. The formats that move buyers are tested across 7,000+ published reviews, not guessed. You get the file, the cuts, and the rights to run it anywhere.

The problem

You open a creator marketplace and find ten thousand portfolios that all look the same, and none of them ever sold a unit.

You pick on vibes. Then the video lands, it gets cut into an ad, and the only thing it converts is your ad budget into impressions. Creative is the biggest lever in your ads right now, and most brands are pulling it blind.

01 / Why my videos are different

Amazon pays creators one way: the video has to sell.

First, who you are hiring. I am Sal, the creator behind @commoditydealer. I have published 7,000+ Amazon review videos since 2022, all of it solo: research, script, shoot, edit, publish. An automated moderation glitch reset my account in late 2025, so I am rebuilding now, back to publishing on the program.

Amazon's Influencer Program pays onsite commissions one way: a shopper watches the video on the product page and buys. No click-through tricks, no vanity views. The video sells or it earns nothing. I earned those commissions across 7,000+ published reviews, which is Amazon's own purchase data tying my videos to sales, thousands of times over.

Two ways to work with me

Storefront review

Lives on your Amazon listing and earns commissions through Amazon Creator Connections. Not sold as a paid video.

Brand-owned video

You get the raw file and the rights and run it as your own ad on Meta, TikTok, and beyond. This page is the brand-owned side. Same buyer-first eye, you just own the result.

02 / Rate card

Pick the format. You own the result.

Intro pricing while the direct-brand portfolio builds. Rates go up as it does. Every video ships in vertical and horizontal cuts, captions on and off, with one revision round and organic usage included.

Standard review

$300

One product, 30 to 60 seconds, shot in the format that fits it.

  • Unboxing, demo, or testimonial style
  • Vertical and horizontal cuts
  • One revision, file included

Two-product comparison

$450

Your product against one alternative, side by side.

  • The format buyers search before they commit
  • Both products on camera
  • File and rights included

Tutorial / how-to

$400

Setup, first use, and the things buyers get wrong.

  • Shown step by step on camera
  • Cuts down returns and tickets
  • File and rights included

3-pack

$750

Three angles on one product: unboxing, demo, testimonial. Saves $150 against three singles, because one hook never fits every placement.

Monthly retainer

$2,400/mo

8 to 10 videos a month across your catalog, raw files, priority turnaround, one planning call. Month to month, no lock-in.

Add-on, +$100: I post the video on my YouTube channel as a dedicated review, with an SEO title, chapters, and your discount code pinned in the description.

03 / Usage rights

Priced in the open, not buried in an invoice.

Organic posting and the file itself are always yours. The paid-ad rows cover running the video as paid media under a creator handle or for extended ad flights.

04 / How it works

Send a product, get a video you own.

  1. Send the product link

I confirm fit and the package, you get a shipping address and an invoice. Expect a same-day reply.

  2. I test it like a real buyer

I use the product the way your customer will, because the honest reaction is the part that converts.

  3. I shoot and edit

Review format matched to the product, hook built to land in the first 3 seconds with the sound off. On retainer work you see a shot plan first.

  4. You review

One revision round is included on every package. Notes in plain English, no portal logins.

  5. You own it

Vertical and horizontal cuts, captions on and off, raw file, and the rights. Run it on your listing, your ads, your social.

05 / Questions

The things brands ask first.

How much do UGC product videos cost?

A standard review is $300, a two-product comparison is $450, a tutorial is $400, a 3-pack is $750, and monthly retainers start at $2,400 for 8 to 10 videos. These are intro rates while the direct-brand portfolio grows, and they go up as it does.

What video formats do you make?

Three single formats: a standard review (unboxing, demo, or testimonial style), a two-product comparison, and a tutorial or how-to. Bundles are a 3-pack (three angles on one product) and a monthly retainer across your catalog. If you need a format that is not listed, send the product and I will tell you straight whether I am the right fit.

Will you follow my script?

Yes. For brand-owned video I work from your script, or I write one and you approve it before I shoot. Brand UGC is yours to direct, so you get final say on the hook, the claims, and the call to action.

Do I get the video file to keep?

Yes. You own every video outright, raw file included, on every package. You can run it on your listing, in paid ads, and on social, and re-edit it however you want. The file is the product, so the file comes to you.

What is included in usage rights?

Organic rights and the full file come with every package: your social channels, your Amazon listing, and a perpetual brand-owned license for organic use. Running the video as paid media under a creator handle, or extended paid-ad flights, are priced as add-ons: 40 percent of base for 90 days, 75 percent for 12 months.

How fast is delivery?

5 business days for a single video and 7 for a 3-pack, from the day the product arrives. Retainer clients get priority turnaround. Rush delivery is available, quoted per project.

Do I ship you the product?

Yes. After booking you get a shipping address. The product is used on camera and is not returned, which is standard for review content.

Do you post the videos on your own channels?

These packages are videos made for your channels: your listing, your ads, your social. If you also want the video posted on my YouTube channel as a dedicated review, that is a $100 add-on and includes an SEO title, chapters, and your discount code pinned in the description.

Do you work with non-Amazon brands?

Yes. DTC, Shopify, retail, anything physical. The review format converts the same whether the checkout lives on Amazon or your own site.

How is this different from an Amazon storefront review?

A storefront review lives on your Amazon listing and earns onsite commissions through Creator Connections, so the video stays on Amazon. Brand-owned video, the kind priced on this page, hands you the raw file and the rights, so you can run it as a paid ad on Meta or TikTok and re-edit it however you want. Plenty of brands use both: a storefront review on the listing, brand-owned cuts for the ad account.

One creator, 7,000+ reps, your product next.

You get the file and the rights, every time.
